Youth Advisors

Calling ALL youth aged 14-17! TELUS World of Science - Calgary is building a new world-class science centre that not only reflects the community, but also captures and motivates visitors with innovative interactive displays.

Apply to be a Suncor Youth Advisor and you can contribute innovative ideas that will inspire and engage other youth in our existing and eventually new facility.

Whether your interests lie in sports, movies, fashion, politics, art or science, this group is for you! Participants will accumulate volunteer hours while developing leadership skills and planning all aspects of a HUGE event for other youth from the advertising plan to music selection! You are in control of the future and we want to help your ideas become reality!
 
Teens must be available Tuesdays between 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. to attend meetings. This team will meet twice per month between November 2009 and May 2010. Ten youth will be chosen from Calgary and surrounding area. Youth Advisors receive a FREE annual TELUS World of Science membership including a “Buddy Pass” so you can visit with a friend for free whenever you’d like.
 
Suncor Youth Advisors will gain valuable experience that can be included on resumes! Youth who are not selected will be invited to attend other group opportunities throughout the year so that everyone who is interested can be involved.
