» Free Friday Night StargazingIT'S FREE!
Every clear Friday night amateur astronomers lead visitors through the spectacular night sky. Weather permitting (meaning clear skies). Members of the Calgary Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada aim telescopes at the planets, the Moon and colourful double stars. Admission to view through the telescopes is free. NOTE: During winter, if temperatures are below -20° C, even if skies are clear, we do NOT open the Observing Deck, for the safety of our telescopes and volunteers.
