We’re open during West LRT construction!
Updates
- NEW VEHICLE ENTRANCE NOW IN EFFECT! - When visiting please use the TELUS World of Science's new vehicle entrance located just north of our previous entrance.
- TEMPORARY ENTRANCE! - TELUS World of Science has a new temporary visitor entrance located off of our Outdoor Amazement Park.
The City of Calgary has begun construction to prepare for the West LRT and this means that some modifications to TELUS World of Science and our site are required. Although there is construction on our site, we will remain open throughout construction (estimated to be until December 2009).
Every effort is being made to minimize the impact of construction on our guests and trust that your experience within our facility will not be affected.
In preparation of the West LRT, the City of Calgary will be altering the TELUS World of Science site and building. In detail, the City will be:
- Relocating TELUS World of Science vehicle access to north side of building on 11th Street. (Closer to 6th Ave SW);
- Removing TELUS World of Science parking under the south concrete deck;
- Removing a portion of the TELUS World of Science south concrete deck;
- Modifying the TELUS World of Science east and west entrances;
Modifying the TELUS World of Science drop-off and loading area.
The schedule of construction is expected to be as follows:
