» Science Café

Science Cafe is a place where, for the price of a cup of coffee or pint of beer, you can learn about the latest ideas and issues in science and technology in an informal setting. It’s not a lecture! It’s a place for group discussion and audience involvement is the most important ingredient. Science Café is a global phenomenon, and in Calgary it is hosted by TELUS World of Science - Calgary and the University of Calgary. It is held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Ironwood Stage and Grill (Inglewood) on the fourth Tuesday of the month from September to November and January to May. To RSVP or to receive notification of upcoming Calgary events, send an e-mail with your name and e-mail address to sciencecafe@ucalgary.ca.
